We can use a variety of prints.
These include prints from memory books. Prints can be ink or paint. We will never need you to send us the original print. If you dont have access to scan the image a simple photocopy is all we need. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

All used prints are electronically stored by Uneik Jewellery. To protect your privacy we store used prints by a coded number system. Prints are never stored under names.
When we supply your jewellery we advise you of your prints code. This allows you to reuse the prints on other jewellery items or share with family members and loved ones so they can order their own special piece.
We are happy to return print masters to you, if requested at time of original order.

Once you have selected the jewellery item you require, the Uneik Jewellery studio team goes to work.
If you have selected a ‘Print’ type item and Send Kit option, a print collection kit is mailed to your delivery address. This kit contains detailed instructions and everything required to collect a print from your loved one. After completing the kit, follow the instructions enclosed to return your prints to the studio.
Once your prints are returned to the studio or if you have ordered a piece from our Expressions range, your individual jewellery item is transformed into a 3D jewellery piece on the computer. It allows us to tailor the piece to your needs individually.

The finished design is then made into jewellers wax. The wax model is then passed to the casting team. From here, the wax model is used in the jewellery process called Lost Wax Casting. Put VERY simply, the model is placed in a casting flask. Investment (refractory plaster) is mixed and poured into the flask, filling it. It hardens, then the wax model is burned out. This leaves a mold cavity, which is filled with either melted gold or silver. Once the metal has hardened and cooled, it is then removed from the plaster flask and all investment is removed from the jewellery piece.
The jewellery piece then needs to be sanded, polished, and cleaned to turn it into a beautiful shiny jewellery piece.
Once all the processes have been completed, we then gift package all our jewellery items and package them for shipping.

If you are having trouble visualising what your piece will look like, we can email you a computer version layout for your approval before the piece goes into production.  This way you get to see the font/print placement before the metal is poured.  It is much easier to make any changes/adjustments at this stage.  Just request a proof at time of ordering.

Once Uneik Jewellery receives an order, you will receive an order confirmation email to the address you entered during the site’s secure checkout.
If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact us to troubleshoot.
