How to place and order

How do I add to the shopping cart?
You can add to the shopping cart basket directly from the products thumbnail page or from the detailed page of a product. Next to the main image of every product there is a box titled “add to cart”, within this box there will be a button which you can click on to add this item to the basket.
How do I know my item has been added to the shopping cart?
Once you have clicked on the “add to cart” button to place the item in your shopping cart basket, your page will refresh and the item will be added to your cart. You can then locate the shopping cart basket in either side columns of the online store or the link to “Edit Cart” in the top menu navigation bar. Your items will be listed in the basket, you can also edit them further from here.
How do I get to the checkout?
First locate the shopping cart basket in either side columns of the online store or the link to “Checkout” in the top menu navigation bar. When the link to “Checkout” is clicked on, it will take you directly to the secure checkout for completion of the purchase.
How do I edit my items?
First locate the shopping cart basket in either side columns of the online store or the link to “Edit Cart” in the top menu navigation bar.
How do I know my order has been received?
Once an order is received by Uneik Jewellery, you will receive an order confirmation email to the address you entered during the sites secure checkout.​

Shipping

How do I check the shipping cost on my items?
All prices quoted on the website include FREE delivery to anywhere in Australia.  Items are shipped via Australia Post – Registed Mail.  For all international orders – In this box you will see a link to “calculate shipping”. From this page you can enter your country and postcode/zip code to calculate the shipping cost on the items in your cart. You can then decide whether to proceed and complete the purchase.
Do you ship to my country?
Yes we ship internationally.  To find out if we ship to your country, first fill your shopping basket and locate the shopping cart basket on the side column of this site. Within this shopping basket there is a link called “calculate shipping”. Once you click on this link there is a drop down list of countries to choose from, if your country is listed then our online store will ship to you.
How do I track my order? Has it been shipped?
Upon dispatch of your order you will be sent an email to confirm that your item is in the post.
Once shipped your order can be tracked via a unique Australia Post id number supplied to you via the dispatch email.
My order never arrived
Please contact Uneik Jewellery via the “contact us” page if your order has not been received within the time originally stated in the checkout or what you deem to be reasonable. All items are sent via registered mail and can be tracked.  As all orders are personalised and are made once you place your order, please allow 2-3 weeks for the ‘expressions’ range and 2-3 weeks from when your fingerprint collection kit was sent back. *Any expected delays due to peak times of the year (ie Christmas) will be advised at time of ordering.

Refund & Exchange Policy

Due to the personalised nature of our products we can not offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind.  If however there is something wrong with the item we have shipped you, we are happy to work with you to fix the problem.  For example if we have made an error with the spelling of the name ect we will gladly exchange the item for a correct one, however if the spelling error was made by you at the time of ordering, we will not accept responsibility for this.

How is it made?

Once you have selected the jewellery item that you require the team at the Uneik Jewellery studio goes to work.
If you have selected a ‘Print’ type item then a print collection kit is mailed to your delivery address.  This kit contains detailed instructions and everything required to collect a print from your loved one.   After completing the kit, follow the instructions enclosed to return you prints to the studio.
Once your prints are returned to the studio or if you have ordered a piece from our Expressions range your individual jewellery item is transformed into a 3D jewellery piece on the computer. This allows us to individually tailor the piece to your needs.
Once we are happy with the design it is then transferred to a machine that cuts the jewellery item out in jewellers wax.  This creates a wax model of the jewellery piece.
The wax model is then passed to the casting team.  From here the wax model is used in the jewellery process called Lost Wax Casting.  Put VERY simply the model is placed in a casting flask. Investment (refractory plaster) is mixed and poured into the flask, filling it. It hardens, then the wax model is burned out.  This leaves a mould cavity which is then filled with either melted gold or silver.  Once the metal has hardened and cooled it is then removed from the plaster flask and all investment is removed from the jewellery piece.
The jewellery piece then needs to be sanded, polished and cleaned to turn it into a beautiful shinny jewellery piece that you are use
​to seeing.
Once all the processes have been completed we then gift package all our jewellery items and then package them for shipping.

You can pay for goods online through our secure shopping cart site via credit card. Credit Card payments are processed by St George Bank. We also accept credit card payments via Paypal.

Personal Cheques
