The Uneik Difference

The Uneik Difference

What makes Uneik Jewellery Different?

We are sure that you have visited other sites in your search for personalised jewellery, and you are wondering why you should choose Uneik Jewellery for your personalised jewellery piece.   Please take a read below as we explain what makes us Uneik.

Sterling Silver and 9 carat Gold

Pieces found across our Uneik ranges are solid Sterling Silver and Solid 9 carat (375) Gold. Gold pieces are available in 9ct Yellow Gold, 9ct Rose Gold, and 9ct White Gold. All pieces are designed and manufactured in Australia.

Many sites producing print jewellery use a clay type product to manufacture their pieces.  We have seen these pieces become brittle, crumble, and wear away over time, and many sites don’t fully explain the material used. Be careful – you want a product that will last.

Print Depth

Our pieces are individually crafted from start to finish.  This means that your print or capture is designed INTO the jewellery piece, not just incorporated onto the jewellery piece.

This allows us to create a deep imprint and something that won’t fade away over time.  We create tactile pieces that you can connect with and feel your loved ones print.

Thickness

Uneik Jewellery pieces are made to a thickness of 1.6mm for a single-sided jewellery piece and 2.4mm for jewellery pieces with prints on both back and front.

We know our personalised pieces are unique and want to make sure they can not be bent by hand, dent, and last a lifetime.

1.6mm thickness is similar to an Australian $1 coin, and 2.4mm is identical to a $2 coin.

Individual Design

As we custom manufacture each piece individually, this means we can alter our designs.

If you have individual requirements, i.e., you want to add it to a thick chain, you want it to attach to an existing bracelet, you would like a unique pendant shape etc. please contact us to discuss your requirements, and we can provide a quote.

Collecting quality prints

Throughout the site, you can also select to use an inkless kit to collect your prints. If you choose this option, we will mail you a collection kit with instructions. You then complete the kit and place it in return paid envelope to us.

We can also use ink and paint prints that you already have to create our jewellery. In these cases, all we need is a photocopy of your precious prints, or you can scan and email them to us.

Quality Jewellery

You get what you pay for.  Our pieces are exceptional quality.  Our standard pieces are a thick 1.6mm thick.  This is similar to the thickness of a $1 coin.

Elsewhere we have seen pieces advertised as thin as .4mm thick which just bends and isn’t the quality keepsake piece you are looking for.

Please read product descriptions and know what you are comparing our pieces to.

Reusing Prints

Once you have had a piece made by Uneik Jewellery we store both the digital mould of the piece you had made and also a digital copy of the edited print that we used on your jewellery piece.

At ANY time if you would like another piece made or the same print used on a different piece, we can access these files.  There is no limit to the amount of times a print can be used.

We have these prints stored from 2008.
