Sterling SilverPersonalised Jewellery by Uneik Jewellery
Discover handcrafted personalised jewellery created to preserve the people, pets and memories that mean the most. Uneik Jewellery transforms genuine fingerprints, thumbprints, handprints, footprints, pawprints, noseprints, names and handwriting into meaningful jewellery made especially for you.
Our collection also includes memorial jewellery containing cremation ashes from a human loved one or cherished pet. Every piece is individually handcrafted in our regional Victorian studio, creating a personal keepsake that can be worn, held and treasured for years to come.
Jewellery Made from Actual Prints
A fingerprint, child’s handprint, baby footprint or pet’s pawprint is completely unique. We carefully transform your supplied print into a detailed jewellery design while preserving the individual features that make it recognisable.
Choose from:
- Fingerprint and thumbprint jewellery
- Baby and child handprint jewellery
- Baby footprint jewellery
- Pawprint and petprint jewellery
- Pet noseprint jewellery
- Name jewellery
- Signature and handwriting jewellery
- Human and pet cremation ashes jewellery
Prints can be captured using one of our easy-to-use collection kits, or you can provide a clear print that you already have. Existing prints from cards, childhood artwork, hospital keepsakes and other treasured documents may also be suitable.
Fingerprints are always kept true to size. If a fingerprint is too large for the selected jewellery, it is carefully trimmed to suit the shape while retaining the most distinctive and interesting details. Larger handprints, footprints and petprints are reduced proportionally so their unique character can be preserved within the chosen design.
Deep, Tactile Print Jewellery
Uneik Jewellery’s print designs are not simply laser engraved onto the surface of a finished piece. Your fingerprint, handprint, footprint, pawprint, name or handwriting is incorporated into the jewellery before the metal is poured using the lost-wax casting process.
This method creates a deeper, tactile impression that becomes part of the jewellery itself. The result is a meaningful keepsake that allows you to see and feel the details of your chosen print.
Cremation Ashes and Memorial Jewellery
Our cremation ashes jewellery provides a personal way to keep the memory of a loved one or treasured pet close. A small amount of cremation ashes—also known as cremains—is gently combined with resin and carefully set into your chosen jewellery design.
Depending on the piece, you may be able to choose a clear finish that allows the ashes to remain visible, add subtle colour or opal inclusions, or select a solid colour for a more private and discreet memorial.
Human and pet ashes are always handled with care and respect. Production photographs are provided to show your loved one’s ashes being added to the jewellery, giving you reassurance and a meaningful record of how your piece was created.
Sterling Silver and Solid 9ct Gold Jewellery
Our personalised and memorial jewellery is handcrafted in Sterling Silver and solid 9ct gold, with selected designs available in:
- Solid 9ct yellow gold
- Solid 9ct rose gold
- Solid 9ct white gold
- Sterling Silver
The available metal choices vary between designs. Our personalised keyrings are handcrafted exclusively in Sterling Silver.
Explore fingerprint rings, signet rings, handprint and footprint rings, ashes rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, bangles, beads, earrings, charms and keyrings. Many designs can also include a name, date, initials or short personal message.
Whether you are celebrating a birth, marriage, anniversary or family milestone, remembering someone who has died, or honouring the life of a beloved pet, Uneik Jewellery creates keepsakes that preserve your connection in a lasting and deeply personal way.
Frequently Asked Questions About Personalised Jewellery
What is personalised jewellery?
Personalised jewellery is created especially for an individual using meaningful details such as an actual fingerprint, handprint, footprint, pawprint, noseprint, name, signature, handwriting or cremation ashes. Unlike mass-produced jewellery, every Uneik Jewellery piece tells a personal story.
What types of prints can be used?
We can create jewellery from fingerprints, thumbprints, handprints, footprints and petprints, including pawprints and noseprints. Prints may belong to babies, children, adults or pets.
How do I collect a fingerprint, handprint, footprint or pawprint?
You can capture a new print using one of our print collection kits. Depending on the product, you may also upload or send a clear print you already have. Detailed instructions are provided to help you achieve the best possible result.
Can you use an old print?
Yes. We may be able to create personalised jewellery from an existing print found on a card, artwork, keepsake or other document. This is particularly important when creating memorial jewellery and it is no longer possible to capture a new print.
Are fingerprints enlarged or reduced to fit the jewellery?
No. Fingerprints are always preserved at their true size. If the print is larger than the chosen jewellery, it is carefully trimmed to fit while retaining the most distinctive details. Handprints, footprints and petprints are proportionally reduced because the complete print needs to fit within the jewellery design.
Is the print laser engraved onto the jewellery?
No. Uneik Jewellery does not simply laser engrave the print onto the surface of a finished piece. The design is incorporated before the metal is poured using the lost-wax casting process, producing a deeper and more tactile result.
What metals are available?
Selected designs are available in Sterling Silver or solid 9ct yellow, rose or white gold. Metal choices vary by product, and personalised keyrings are available in Sterling Silver only.
Can pet prints be made into personalised jewellery?
Yes. Pawprints, noseprints and other suitable petprints can be transformed into rings, pendants, necklaces, charms, bracelets and other keepsakes. Pet jewellery can celebrate a companion who is still with you or preserve the memory of a pet who has died.
What is cremation ashes jewellery?
Cremation ashes jewellery contains a small amount of human or pet cremains. The ashes are carefully combined with resin and set into the selected jewellery, creating a unique memorial that can be worn close.
Can you use both human and pet cremation ashes?
Yes. We create cremation ashes jewellery in memory of human loved ones and beloved pets. Every set of ashes is handled with the same care and respect.
Will the cremation ashes be visible?
That depends on the finish you choose. A clear resin finish can allow the natural ashes to remain visible. You may also choose coloured or opal inclusions, or a solid colour that keeps the ashes more private and discreet.
How much cremation ash is required?
Only a small amount of cremation ash is needed to create your memorial jewellery. The appropriate quantity and instructions for securely sending the ashes are provided as part of the ordering process.
Will I receive a proof before my print jewellery is made?
A digital proof can be requested for personalised print jewellery. Once your print has been received, the proposed layout can be prepared and sent for your approval before production begins.
How is cremation ashes jewellery made?
A small portion of ashes is carefully combined with resin and added to the chosen jewellery design. Production photographs are provided so you can see the ashes being added and have a lasting record of the creation process.
Where is Uneik Jewellery made?
Uneik Jewellery is individually handcrafted in regional Victoria, Australia. Each personalised and memorial piece is made with care, attention and respect for the story it represents.
