• ☀️ Sunlight & Storage – Prolonged, intense exposure to direct UV sunlight can cause resin to subtly discolour over the years. When you aren’t wearing your keepsake, keep it resting safely in the shade inside your signature Uneik Gift Box.

• 💧 Keep It Dry – Always remove your jewellery before swimming, showering, or soaking in hot tubs. Extended exposure to moisture can slowly compromise the bond between the metal and the resin.

• 🛡️ Complimentary Annual Inspection – We want your tribute to look its absolute best forever. We invite you to send your piece back to our studio once a year for a free professional maintenance check and polish. You simply cover the tracking postage to and from our studio, and our artisans will lovingly inspect the settings and refresh its shine.

📦 How much of the ashes do you need, and how do I send them?

Once your order is placed, we will mail you a specialised Secure Collection Kit. It contains a small container, a scoop, and clear instructions. We only require a very small amount—approximately one level teaspoon per jewellery piece.

🛡️ How do I know my loved one’s ashes won’t be mixed up with anyone else’s?

We treat this process with the absolute highest level of reverence and strict professionalism. We operate on a one-piece-at-a-time protocol. Your loved one’s ashes are assigned a unique tracking number and are kept entirely isolated in a dedicated, labeled space. They never leave their secure container until the exact moment they are being placed into your specific piece by a single artisan.

🕊️ What happens to the ashes that aren’t used in the jewellery?

We treat every single grain with the utmost respect. Any remaining ashes that are not seamlessly incorporated into your keepsake will be meticulously swept up, securely repackaged, and safely returned to you in full alongside your finished jewellery.

💨 Can you work with older ashes, or ashes that have been buried?

Yes, absolutely. The age of the ashes does not affect the creation process at all. Whether you have had them close by for decades or they have been recently returned to you, we can beautifully integrate them into any piece in our collection.

🐾 Can you create memorial pieces using pet ashes?

Yes, we love honoring our animal companions. Your pets are family, and we are more than happy to create a beautiful keepsake using the ashes or fur of a beloved pet. The process and care taken are exactly the same.

📏 How do I measure for the correct ring size?

To make this process seamless, a complimentary multi-sizer ring gauge is included inside your Cremation Collection Kit. For the best result, we recommend measuring your finger at the end of the day when your hands are warm. If you would like 100% certainty, you can also pop into a local retail jeweller and ask them to measure your finger—most will happily do this for you free of charge.

💍 Can my ring be resized later if my size changes?

• Standard Memorial Rings: Most of our ring designs can be resized. If you ever need an adjustment down the track, you can simply send your piece back to our studio, and we will happily provide a quote for the resizing work.

• Rail Rings (Ashes around the entire band): Because the channel of ashes runs continuously around the entire band, our rail rings cannot be resized.

💧 Can I wear my memorial jewellery all the time? (Shower, swimming, etc.)

Because your piece contains precious material sealed within jewellery mediums, we strongly advise treating it as a delicate heirloom. To preserve its beauty and structural integrity for a lifetime, please remove your piece before swimming, showering, sleeping, or using heavy chemicals/lotions.
